Very few players reach the top tier of football in a country, but even fewer manage to reach a league as prestigious as La Liga. Today we bring you a list of players who have played for the most teams in the history of La Liga.Raúl García (7 clubs)
Raúl García Carnero, originally from A Coruña and developed at Deportivo La Coruña, made his debut in the top tier at 20 years old with the first team of the blue and white club, where he played a handful of matches. At 23, he moved to Almería, where he alternated between the first and second teams, although he didn't see much playing time in La Liga. From there, he began a journey through several teams, alternating between the top and second tiers, including Leganés, Valladolid, Alavés, Girona, and Getafe. However, despite having played for so many teams in La Liga, he only accumulated 86 appearances in the top division over a 15-year career.

Rubén Martínez (7 clubs)
Goalkeeper Rubén Martínez is another native of the province of A Coruña, and he spent his early youth years in Galicia before signing with Barcelona, where he progressed through various stages of the club before making his debut for the Catalan first team, playing two matches. He then moved on loan to Cartagena in the third tier, which initially seemed like a step backward, before joining the club permanently upon the expiration of his Barcelona contract. However, he became a regular starter, which led to his return to the top tier when he signed for Málaga a couple of years later. He didn't play much for Málaga and went on loan to Rayo Vallecano, demonstrating his ability to play in La Liga and embarking on spells at several clubs, including Deportivo La Coruña, Almería, Osasuna, and Levante, as well as a couple of stints abroad (Anderlecht and AEK Larnaca).Miquel Soler (7 clubs)
Miquel Soler, who could be both a full-back and a midfielder, began his football career at Espanyol, where he established himself as a regular starter. This led to his move to Barcelona, where he was part of the team managed by Johan Cruyff between the late 80s and early 90s. In fact, Soler was one of the Dutchman's first signings upon taking over at the Catalan club. While he enjoyed significant playing time at Barcelona, he also had a loan spell at Atlético Madrid when his role diminished. After his time with the Catalan club ended, he signed with Sevilla, where he spent two seasons, before joining Real Madrid for one season and later moving to Real Zaragoza and retiring at Mallorca.Castor Elzo (7 clubs)
This is a unique case, as in the first half of the 20th century, it wasn't very common for players to play for multiple clubs. Castor Elzo's career spanned from the 1930s to the 1950s, taking him to Real Zaragoza, Málaga, Las Palmas, Castellón (where he particularly excelled), Deportivo La Coruña, Valencia, and Real Madrid. Lluís Carreras is another product of La Masia, and after progressing through most of Barcelona's youth categories, he made his La Liga debut for the first team in 1993, although he had to go out on loan for two years. His first loan was to Oviedo, and his second to Racing Santander. Upon returning to Barcelona, he got some playing time, but not as much as he had hoped, and he moved to Mallorca where he found consistent playing time. This led to his signing with Atlético Madrid, where he again struggled for playing time. At the end of his career, he played for Murcia and Alavés.

The Andalusian defensive midfielder Rubén Pérez spent his formative years at Atlético Madrid before making his first-team debut, playing just 11 minutes in what would be his only appearance for the club (and the one that earned him a place on this list). Atlético didn't see him as part of their plans and began loaning him out to various La Liga clubs, including Deportivo La Coruña, Getafe, Betis, Elche, and Granada, the team that eventually signed him permanently. He then moved to Leganés, where he played extensively in both the first and second divisions. He continued his career in Greece, most recently with Kifisia, and a move to a new La Liga club would take him to eight clubs and put him joint top of this list. The 37-year-old is currently without a club, but hasn't officially ended his career yet.

Roberto Soldado is probably the most important name on this list. The Valencian spent eight years at Real Madrid (one on loan at Osasuna) where he made his first-team debut. He then went to Getafe and Valencia, where he consistently scored at least 13 league goals each season. After two years at Tottenham, he joined Villarreal, where he gradually lost his place in the starting lineup, leading to his move to Fenerbahce. Upon his return to Spain from Turkey, he played for Granada and Levante to finish his career.Javier Arizmendi (7 clubs)
Javier Arizmendi is from Madrid and came up through the Atlético Madrid youth system, where he made his professional debut in 2004. Lacking playing time, he went on loan to Racing Santander, where he impressed in La Liga, leading to his signing by Deportivo La Coruña a year later. His first spell in Galicia lasted around a year and a half, after which he moved to Valencia, where he stayed for just one year. From there, he joined Real Zaragoza, then in the Second Division, helping them achieve promotion and maintain their place back in the top tier. He left Aragon to return to Madrid, this time to Getafe, where, following a change of manager, he lost his starting role and was loaned out twice (to Neuchâtel Xamax and Mallorca). He retired at Deportivo La Coruña in the second tier.

The Madrid-born forward Munir El Haddadi came through Barcelona's youth system and made his La Liga debut for the first team in 2014 under Luis Enrique and scored in his very first league appearance. After struggling to establish himself as a regular starter at the club, he spent two seasons on loan, one at Valencia and one at Alavés before returning to Barcelona. In January 2019, he left the Catalan club permanently to join Sevilla, where he spent three and a half seasons and won the Europa League. He later moved to Getafe and then Las Palmas before signing for Leganés in 2024, becoming the seventh different La Liga club he had represented. After Leganés were relegated at the end of the 2024/25 season, he left the club and continued his career in Iranian Esteghlal. Since Munir is still only 30 years old and turns 31 in September 2026, it is not impossible that he could return to La Liga with an eighth club, especially as he is currently without a contract after leaving Esteghlal following his departure from Iran during the US-Israeli strikes in March 2026.Carlos Aranda (8 clubs)
The Malaga-born striker Carlos Aranda took his first steps in football at Real Madrid, where he made his first-team debut in the Champions League but never appeared for the club in La Liga. Aranda developed his career alternating between the top and second tiers, starting at Numancia, Villarreal, and Albacete in just two years. In fact, he was also known for changing teams frequently, which has allowed him to top this list. In addition to those already mentioned, he also played in La Liga with Osasuna, Real Zaragoza, Granada, Sevilla, and Levante.
