Five high-odds matches worth betting on this weekend

The national team break is over and we can enjoy some great club football again. During this weekend, 25 and 26 of November 2023, we have two exciting top clashes in the Premier League and Serie A between the first and second placed teams in the respective leagues. We take on the task of tipping these matches and get some great odds. We have also selected three other matches where, by taking a bit of chance, can get very good betting odds.

Etihad Stadium, Manchester
Etihad Stadium - home to the top meeting this weekend

Manchester City-Liverpool - Saturday 13.30 CET

There is a top meeting in the Premier League as current number one Manchester City hosts second placed Liverpool at home at the Etihad Stadium. For City, Kevin De Bruyne is still missing and perhaps even more worrying is the status of Erling Braut Haaland as he has an ankle injury, and it is considered 50/50 whether he can start or not. In Liverpool, Alexis MacAllister is suspended, and Andy Robertson is injured. It is always difficult to know the status of the players after a national team break, but as both teams are probably satisfied with not losing, we may well see a draw here. A draw gives you just over 4 times the money at most betting companies and can definitely be considered worth betting on.

Rayo Vallecano-Barcelona - Saturday 14:00 CET

In this match, of course, Barcelona are favourites, which they basically always are unless they face Real Madrid, but we do see a potential risk for them in this match. Rayo Vallecano are an admittedly difficult team to beat, and they have actually won their last two matches against Barca at home, and they have not lost against them in the last two seasons. They did lose with 1-2 against Girona in the last match (a Girona that surprisingly leads La Liga) but had two straight away draws against Real Madrid and Real Sociedad before that, so the form is good. In addition, Barcelona have an important Champions League game against Porto on Tuesday to consider as well. This should of course be seen as a giant gamble but for around 5 times the money on a Rayo Vallecano win, it is a gamble that may be worth taking.

Union Berlin - Augsburg - Saturday 15:30 CET

Union Berlin is a team that completely lacks harmony and has 13 losses and one draw in the last 14 competitive matches and are in the bottom of Bundesliga. Augsburg is a team that mixes good with bad performances but is coming from four straight games without a loss in the league (2 wins and 2 draws). Of course, it is a gamble to bet on a team like Augsburg (no disrespect) to win away from home, but given Union Berlin's abysmal form, an odds of just under 4 times the money for a Augsburg win is very very tempting.

Everton v Manchester United - Sunday 5.30pm CET

Everton were handed a 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League's financial regulations last week and dropped to second last in the table. With Everton really starting to find their form after over a year of poor performances and starting to climb the table, this was a massive blow for the club. However, most likely this will be a real spark for the team and as they are going up against a Manchester United on Sunday who are lining up poor performances, and are also missing injured players such as Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and possibly also Rasmus Højlund, it feels laid out for Everton to win here. For an Everton win you are rewarded with around 2.5 times the money.

Lautaro Martinez, Inter - looking for birds
Lautaro Martinez - a loser this weekend?

Juventus - Inter - Sunday 20:45 CET

Just like in the Premier League, a top match between the first and second placed in Serie A awaits, and in this case, it is between Juventus and Inter. Inter are natural favourites here as they are in the top of the league, have four straight wins and also a Lautaro Martinez who is in his life's form and is the best scorer in Serie A with 12 goals scored. But, after several poorer seasons, Juventus have started to line up wins again. Among other things they have five straight home wins, and unlike Inter, they do not have any European Cup matches to play this season, which allows them to concentrate 100% on the league. Of course, the match is very difficult to tip, and should perhaps be avoided, but when you can get over 3 times the money on a Juventus win, it feels like a risk worth taking.

Please note that here we have selected and tipped matches with a focus on getting high odds. The reason they have high odds is obviously because these tips should be considered a game of chance, so keep this in mind if you choose to follow our tips. Play responsibly and carefully.
